that’s bullshit, but i’ll believe it.
- thumbuddy 3y agoStuff like this always hits the news when really bad shit is either going down or about to go down.
- behringer 3y agoBecause they work for a week and finish up on Friday... Like everybody else.
- catchnear4321 3y agowell that is rather curious. for a site with the demographics that it has, one might expect an acknowledgement that thou shalt not deploy on friday.
- behringer 3y agoThey're just like us. They deploy on Wednesday and hang out until Friday when they tell the boss it's completed.
- thumbuddy 3y agoStuff like this always hits the news when really bad shit is either going down or about to go down as a distraction.
- edgyquant 3y agoNo it doesn’t. I don’t know, or particularly care, either way but this statement is something insufferable people throw around to seem smarter than everyone else. Military people don’t testify before congress about UFOs “everytime something big is about to happen” and people aren’t as stupid as you think that they can only care about one issue at once.
- micromacrofoot 3y agoinformed intentionally because someone picked him as the gullible fall guy to leak it, more likely… why would the military tell someone and also deny access
- abracadaniel 3y agoTo test their ability to keep a secret while vetting them to handle actual secrets. If they leak it, that's fine because it's made up and is mostly harmless, if not, then they can be trusted to find out where Jimmy Hoffa actually buried JFK.
