Ask HN: Can anyone here help me with Google adsense?
I have a website and I would like to know how this Google acceptance regarding adsense. what should I have on the site, domain, content, page and these things. can anyone help me with this?
- supercoder9 3y agoI would recommend having an About Us page, a Privacy Policy page and more than 30 posts/pages.
- DamonHD 3y agoAnd avoid politics, porn and recreational drugs. And medicine and other money/life topics unless you can show/cite authority.

- DamonHD 3y agoProviding that that talk (and the games) avoids adult themes and violence and other things on AdSense's disallowed list, then you may be fine. (Also avoid anything in the domain name that looks like any of those things, and don't buy a second-hand domain that used to, or was doing anything else dodgy.)
- DamonHD 3y agoAnd as if by magic, this just in from Google by email: Dear AdSense Publisher, On 30 August 2023, Google will update Shocking content in the Google Publisher Restrictions to include an exception for gameplay imagery. In the context of gameplay imagery, content is only considered to 'contain gruesome, graphic or disgusting accounts or imagery' or 'depict acts of violence' if it depicts acts of torture, sexual violence, violence against minors, violence against prominent real-name persons or violence against an individual or group on the basis of a characteristic that is associated with systemic discrimination or marginalisation. ...
