  (1990)? Seems weird that AP doesn't include the article date even if it's one that predates AP on the web.

  Hopefully we did, and are doing, enough to avoid the very worst. One thing that is very clear now, looking back to 1990 is that we could have done more, and squandered a whole lot of opportunities.
