DIYer open-sources user-repairable USB-C AirPods Pro design
- meristohm 3y agoIt is so satisfying to repair things! Clothes, tools, books, toys, machines, you name it; the process of identifying the problem and figuring out a fix is empowering. I get that not everyone wants to, but repairs really are for everyone, and opting to trash things is just kicking problems along to the next generation. It is frustrating that paying for boot repair can be more costly than a new pair of boots. Feels like we are undervaluing the material extraction and processing, and losing skills along the way.
