This is the most banal argument. It's never possible something is worse than it was before?
- bazoom42 3y agoNote that a lot of people can agree that newer music is crap but wildly disagree about when the good music was made. Just in this thread you can see some claim good music was made until 1985, some say it was until the 90’s some say it was until the last decade. There is no consensus at all, which indicate it is not an objective change in quality.
- yCombLinks 3y ago100% agree it's not objective, but if you took a poll for which time period had better music 1965-1969 vs 1980-1985 you'd have a heavy vote for 65-69
