20 crashes,
At out current level of airline safety, how many flights would we need to fly to get to 20 crashes.
We must be close to around 1 crash a year?
So 20 years... In 1 year we have around 20 million flights... 400 million flights to get to 20 crashes.
I'm gonna assume advanced aliens are at least an order of magnitude better. There isn't a billion of these things in the sky..
So yeah, there safety level for such an advanced thing seems a bit shit.
I just don't believe they would crash this often to even have 10-20 crafts.
The whole premise seems absurd.

I think it would be reasonable to assume that some very complicated physics would be required, many orders of magnitude more complicated than air travel, which was first done with leg power, using some spare bicycle parts and various dead plants.
