8. Replace prisons
Prisons do not make criminals back into normal people. Prisons are expensive. Prisons are a big market. Prisons stay the same for the last few centuries. What is a better way to punish and a better way to bring criminals back to civil life?
- olalonde 15y agoDon't all governments have a monopoly over their country's prisons?
- kolinko 15y agoI think in U.S. prisons are private enterprises.
- thejteam 15y agoThis is highly dependent on the locale. Some places have outsourced prisons, usually with poor results. Most have not.
