Netflix needs someone to figure out how to best use AI. They need someone to lead the charge. If they find someone that can do that then they are getting a bargain at 900k. I doubt they will find someone that can create AI products internally. It's most likely they will eventually buy startups that have products they can use. So the AI manager will manage the acquisitions and the integrations. They need a business manager that understands AI's potential and can evaluate products Netflix can use. They don't need an AI PhD.
