There is a word for 0.62 alcohol beer: whiskey.
- viciousvoxel 3y agoIncorrect. Whiskey requires distillation. High proof beers are made using the same basic process as any other beer, but start with a higher concentration of fermentable sugars and an appropriate, higher alcohol-tolerant yeast. Cryoconcentration can also be use to increase ABV (e.g. Eisbocks)
