- Alex3917 3y agoAlso, while Gymnopilus junonius probably does contain psilocin, I wouldn't really consider it to be a psilocybin mushroom. My understanding is that its effects as a nicotinic acetylcholine inhibitor are more prominent, at least from what I've heard. (As someone without a strong chemistry background, I'm less inclined to be an early adopter of something labeled "unknown neurotoxin.")
