Voices from the outside always said Tesla was doomed when the large automakers started selling electric vehicles. That with their manufacturing know-how they would be selling millions within a couple years. This is an embarrassingly low number of vehicles on the Ultium platform. It inspires zero confidence that GM will be good at managing their supply chain and manufacturing electric vehicles. GM's forecasts are borderline fraud at this point. They need to come forward with a realistic roadmap ending with significant production of electric vehicles.
