- pixelatedindex 3y agoWARN just states that you need to give advanced notice, and if you don’t then you have to give severance. Usually you have to sign a release to get your severance, and that includes being in good standing. I’m not sure if the employer can define what “good standing” is, or if it’s a legally binding term. All this to say, it’s probably legal.
