It comes with telnetd and sshd so you can connect to it using a regular PC, if you feel like it. I also wonder, can you plug a USB keyboard into an android device and have it recognized (using a full size to mini USB adapter)?

you can do it only if your smartphone supports USB host. Some have this kind of function (i.e. Samsung Galaxy II S), some others dont have it and you need a kernel mod, if you can mount it on your device http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1450298 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1450298 (and AFAIK you need external USB power)
