- StrictDabbler 3y agoThis is the ultimate skeuomorphism. Do we keep the Triglyph and metopes when we no longer have transverse wooden beams in our temples? Sure, we're still building a temple shaped object. Do we keep the floppy disk and phone icons even though our system has no disk drive or handset? Sure, we're still shipping software that saves files and makes calls. Do we make a box shaped as if to contain a video, even though we ship nothing and you own nothing? At least once! We'll see if you buy it.
