I loathe my daily meeting every day. You can tell everyone but the PM and our boss see it as a waste of time. I’m working on a project by myself, so I know everyone but the PM and my boss are tuning me out, and likewise for them. The worst part is that we can’t just give our updates and move on with our day- unless our boss is out. At this point we all instinctively pause and wait for him to ask some dumb question usually around when something is going to be completed. If the dude wants more visibility into what we’re doing maybe he shouldn’t be having us writing our own tickets.
