Yeah I recently started reading again in my adult life (highly recommended btw), and I had to retrain my brain to sit through the slow drip of information. First a page, then a couple, finally a chapter. One things that stood out to me is books are incredibly verbose. You wade through an ocean of verbiage on the given subject and saturate yourself with the knowledge - and in the end you come out far more of an expert than any internet perusing could allow.
