As someone who spends a good amount of time on iracing, what annoys me most about VR not taking off more is the lack of improvements in VR headsets. We just get more high-end stuff like the Varjo Aero, Bigscreen Beyond or Pimax Crystal, but since the release of the HP Reverb G2 there haven't been any sensibly priced options anymore. And things like the Quest or Pico are just pretty rubbish for PCVR (compression, dealing with flimsy USB C connectors, Oculus software etc.).
