Still quite niche, not a lot of good marketing around them other than you look goofy when you use them, they make you sici/nauseous, you need a lot of space, you need a powerful pc, relatively unknown which apps/games run in VR etc Every point shrinks the target market Now we have apple with their exclusive vr headset and this will alienate more people until the market stabilizes - maybe like what happened with touch screen phones in the 10s
