- consumer451 3y agoI have not looked into this much, but I had always assumed that step one of creating a valid UBI scheme was solving authentication. Otherwise UBI is griftopia as scammers could sign-up multiple times. I thought The Orb was a solution to that problem.
- tlb 3y agoThe eyeball scan prevents people from signing up multiple times. You also have to protect against insider fraud by the employees at the signup locations. So having them click "Yes, a person showed up" isn't enough.
