Cinema is currently so expensive that it makes little sense to go. My family of 3 costs easily 100 to go to barbie. Between 60 for tickets and 40 for snacks. Back on the early 2000s this was about 20 maybe 30. With the costs soaring I'm only going to movies when a big group wants to go together. Otherwise why. Usually gonna spend an extra $20 on top of it to go to an upscale theater with reclining seats and food ordering services. But that happens maybe once a year or less now. Just 8 years ago we'd go to the theater once a month give or take. Hell we can get cheap Broadway tickets for almost the same price as a movie outing.
