My two cents: no. A nice cinema double feature won't save us from the movie industry. What will save us are classic theatres. I saw both movies at the Grand Lake Theatre in Oakland. It's a gorgeous classic theatre with really rich decorations, low prices, and movies start on time! Going to a mall movie theater is like an amusement park, everything is designed to extract as much of your attention and money as possible. The classic theatre treated me like a person.
