  But why? You have a brand so popular that people use it as a verb. Will people start X-ing now?

    It might be a Google/Facebook to Alphabet/Meta rebranding.

      Alphabet is the parent Company and Google is still one of the companies. In the case of Meta, there is only Meta which has several products like Facebook, Instagram, Threads... For Twitter, there is a parent Company X Holdings, and Twitter the product will be renamed X, as well as the company, part of X Holdings.

  “Formerly known as”. Jeez never wanted to use Twitter in the first place but who would start using x now? So strange.

  All these companies go for very short names and get their domain name: meta.com, x.ai, x.com, ... and normal guys just get mynicewebsite2023.org if they're lucky. Frustrating!
