QUIC to Mars
- jauntywundrkind 3y agoIt'd be lovely to have some broadcast http specs to accompany this. With signed exchanges we already have a way of making origin signed bundles (which I wish the team would appropriately update to use actual HTTP Signatures, now that those are approved. We could try to adapt httpmu (used in upnp) which broadcasts content to quic. I'm not sure if quic has picked up any extensions which might help here, and at first glance it seems like a big mismatch with quic having peer to peer security so deep at it's heart. In this case we just want to send publicly; the signed exchanges will self validate the content's origin & integrity. This would let folks beam out a web page (ideally with webpackage bundles to encapsulate all the needed resources) in a trustable manner.
