Anchor Brewing says it's open to buyout from employees to avoid closure

  On my first visit of many to San Francisco I tried Anchor Steam beer. Ever since then it represents the city to me just like sourdough bread. It would be a tragedy if a failed corporate acquisition would be the end of the beer that launched the craft beer revolution. So even though the odds are overwhelmingly against them I am rooting for the workers.
