How much should you tip on food delivery?
- uberman 3y agoIn an ideal world you would not need to tip at all. The 30 percent premium you pay would include proper compensation for the driver and in the rare case the driver exceeded your expectations you would give them a tip post transaction. The absurd situation we have now is companies refuse to properly compensate their workers and force patrons to compensate them illegally under the table. Worse, it is explicitly compensation as you are almost always asked to "tip" in advance before knowing anything about the quality of the food or the timeliness of the delivery.
