I was under the impression that the US government controls / owns .gov
- School-Cotton 3y agoYes, exactly. .gov is US-specific and controlled by the US government.
- OJFord 3y agoYes exactly. So there's no need to use gov.us, but there isn't a 'ukgov' TLD, so gov.uk makes sense.
