Last time I tried Rust on bare metal it needed a bunch of hacks or C code to glue it all together. It's just too high level for the most bare metal applications.
- fleventynine 3y agoThis hasn't been true for a long time. Stable rust can do bare metal armv7m or risc-v development without any C code; just a bit of (inline) assembly to call into a rust main() function using the C ABI.
