What motivates you to continue volunteering your time to moderate a Reddit forum when the host has demonstrated a clear and repeated lack of respect or care for the time and concerns of moderation staff?
- jerf 3y agoFirst, it's my decision, not yours. Secondly, I was helped by a lot of people when I was a young developer and this is how I give back. Since it's a sum of maybe 10 minutes a day, which I was largely already using for this anyhow, it's nearly free. If it ever became a job I'd stop.
- duxup 3y agoI can’t speak for the other user, but I suspect most moderators care about the community and that’s where they are.
