Has to be apple cider vinegar. It must smell of old apples or something.
- OJFord 3y agoMy guess is that apple juice would fare better than cider vinegar. The vinegar to me sounds like someone's idea of making it seem more chemical, more like a cleaning product - but this is just a mechanical trap, you could use anything, just a piece of whatever they seem attracted to even (e.g. extract from compost caddy).
- mst 3y agoA glass I was drinking hard cider from left out with a splash still in the bottom seems to reliably acquire corpses overnight.
