"how are you not homeless?" Wouldn't the obvious (and slightly glib, but I hope you can see my point) reply to that be "because my parents are wonderful people and we're a tight-knit family"? Note that they say ADHD symptoms, not necessarily ADHD prevalence. So it could very well be that the only thing they're saying is that ADHD is much more manageable if you have (enjoyed) a good, stable upbringing.
