It won't matter because in 8 to 10 years (even sooner) we're all going to be conditioned into seeing our personal cars as enablers of the climate apocalypse (yes, even the EVs) and as such we'll be kindly asked to travel less. Because, of course, public transportation won't be able to compensate for the sudden and very big demand caused by people being forced to give up personal transportation en masse.
