I lost my career as a programmer when a company decided my diabetic low blood sugar (one time) was proof I was a drug addict.
I begged for OJ that they had right there, and they refused.
There need to be criminal penalties for refusing medical aide to someone. It should be OK to demand a drug test, but not to refuse medical aide.
- notsound 3y agoDid you talk to a lawyer about this? This situation sounds really suspicious (where they trying to illegally fire you?).

- mrguyorama 3y agoPlenty of industries where "Fired for a drug policy violation" means never working in that industry again.
