For people looking for alternatives, what are some suggestions? Is MRSK with Hetzner good?
AWS is way too expensive and complex nowadays. I can’t stand the amount of terminology they invented just to deploy a website and database.
- jim180 3y agoI'm using mrsk + DO instances (DB is running on managed instance within DO) on my side project, which is Django. I'm very happy about everything. No complexity, easy to deploy and setup.

- jim180 3y agoI've picked up DO just because they have managed database instances. If hetzner had this, I would have picked them instead.
- gowthamgts12 3y agoyou can get away with DigitalOcean, Linode, scaleway, etc for raw compute and you can indeed use MRSK if you're using rails.
