- hodgesrm 3y agoI was in Granada last month and was wondering why we don't use the same solutions that keep the Alhambra and other Moorish buildings cool in California. It was a pleasant surprise to see this article.
- zeristor 3y agoRecharging aquifers only works if you have permeable rock, a pretty advanced body of knowledge to build these. There was a civilisation in Northern Sahara which eventually dried out, I imagine they may have had to develop this, finesse it and ultimately move on when things became too dry. Perhaps this technology could be applied in other places around the world?
