Has anyone used llama2 and can share comparison or impressions against ChatGPT?
Another question, unrelated. What do they mean Microsoft partnered with them, didn't they partner with OpenAI? Are they playing both fields now?
- brucethemoose2 3y agoCan't speak for V2 yet, but Llamav1 finetunes are (IMO) already better than ChatGPT 3.5 for roleplaying. GPT4 is hard to beat, but the tooling surrounding it is getting more limited because its not hackable. Facebook partnered with Azure to host some Llama instances, but the media is misconstruing this as a development partnership. (That said, this article is silly. LlamaV2 is not better than GPT4)
- mhh__ 3y agoThere's definitely power behind llama2 but the facebook-tuned instruction models are neutered to the point of being schizophrenic.
