Linkedin didn't reduce client latency by 60%. Instead they reduced latency of some microservice, which used to take ~15ms, by <10ms, which is not bad but the claim is flat out wrong.
- nahseeu 3y agoIt’s incomplete, not wrong. You inferred more than you should have from the title.
- noveltyaccount 3y agoAgreed. And "by up to" is a poor metric. What about P90 or even average?
