- archo 3y agoNot a Dupe; that article is from : https://bgr.com/tech/threads-has-lost-half-of-its-daily-active-users-a-week-after-launch/ https://bgr.com/tech/threads-has-lost-half-of-its-daily-acti...
- beardyw 3y agoI think the op meant "this topic has been discussed already". It is useful to avoid duplicate discussions.

- ChrisArchitect 3y agono, not related. It's the same story just posted somewhere else. And there's a bunch of discussion 2 days ago about it. Dupe.
- archo 3y agoA Duplicate refers to the same Article source URL, or a word for word copy of the Story submitted to two different Publishers. This is neither, two different Stories on the same Subject, by two different Authors. If you claim the above are Duplicates, then you must also deem Wikipedia #Userbase a Duplicate as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threads_(social_network)#Userbase https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threads_(social_network)#Userb...
- ChrisArchitect 3y agoyou new here? It's common to point out duplicates as stories reporting on the same topic and directing to where the conversation is happening on them consolidating. Posting this 2 days after the news when there's a large discussion about it isn't helping anything. We're not trying to have the discussion split up over days of different posts, c'mon.
- archo 3y agoYou may ask yourself, " How does Dan do it " https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36805838 https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36805838
- ChrisArchitect 3y agoRelated is not Dupe. Just don't post stories that already have threads. That's it.
- archo 3y agoYou seem to think that News is a forever fixed settled contextual proposition from one perspective, News changes in time. >Just don't post stories that already have threads. That's it. I did Not post a Duplicate, period!
