I had an old thinkserver ts140, which is nice but I hardly use it anymore. I replaced it with a raspberry pi 4, with 2 external 4Tb usb drives. Runs Plex, and handles all the backups of other machines on my network. Very low power, a little slow I guess, but works well enough for me.
