Nissan to Adopt North American Charging Standard (NACS)
- Kirby64 3y agoThis is great. Finally kills off the last remaining user of CHAdeMO that I'm aware of in the US. In terms of unification of charging standards, killing off CHAdeMO is indisputably a good idea. It has literally no advantages over CCS1 or NACS and only disadvantages. Even if CCS1 sticks around (which is seeming less likely by the day) this means charging station vendors can slowly kill off CHAdeMO.
- sgerenser 3y agoI actually thought Nissan had already killed CHAdeMO (they are using CCS on the Ariya).
