WordPress and Toolset Increase PHP Requirement to PHP 7
- chiefalchemist 3y agoAs someone who does a fair amount of WordPress dev, this type of "major announcement" forces me to hang my head in shame. I'm not familiar with Toolset, but ffs the rest of the world is arse deep in PHP 8.x and the WP "community's" big news is to make an unsupported version of PHP the minimum requirement? Did I die and end up in engineering hell? Certainly feels that way. I desperately need a career pivot. This is more embarrassment than I can take. Again. Shame on me.
