- 3cats-in-a-coat 3y agoI believe all Jobs wanted is to not see his teams constantly broken apart as he's always put a lot of effort into finding talent, that was always extremely important for him and he's always spoken about it, in public. Of course it's always been put in the light of "evil billionaires trying to keep the small man down".

- Zigurd 3y agoThe language, and possibly even the sincere intent, of these "gentlemen's agreements" makes it sound like CEOs trying not to disrupt one anothers' projects. But the effect is to pull up the ladder once senior management has climbed up to stratospheric compensation.
