I subscribe to one of the TypeScript newsletters, just to keep and eye on the latest additions, and at some point I became exhausted. Every update (and those are very frequent!) comes with some new esoteric option most average developers will never use or will be totally confused by. TypeScript seems to be losing the plot to its own movie, turning into a sprawling, complex language like C++ or Scala - the "choose your own adventure" type.
