While I totally agree, and I come from a time where one couldn't be a full stack JavaScript developer. (Also a time when folks DID make their living doing bread and butter style Delphi/PowerBuilder/FoxPro/VB apps). I get that some folks spend ALL day in a certain language/stack and it's easy for everything to begin to look like a problem they could solve using that language/stack. I do agree that is boring, but it also pays the bills!
