Wasn't Tesla founded by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning, with Musk coming on as an investor later?

  They only had an idea and battery prototype. Eberhard acknowledged in a news article in early 2023 that there'd be no Tesla without Musk and he'd do it all over again with him. IMO Straubel is the key person

    I agree, it seems like JP Straubel is the key independent variable for Tesla.

      I consider Mueller and Saverin as founders too. Registering essentially a shell company is almost nothing
