I'd love to see studies generalized to video games as a whole. To me it seems that any activity that actively flexes the brain should result in similar effects.

I'd love to see studies generalized to video games as a whole. To me it seems that any activity that actively flexes the brain should result in similar effects. I'd much rather play Factorio or Xcom than chess, or shudder, crosswords.
- RandallBrown 3y agoI've been enjoying the NYTimes mini crossword puzzles enough that I pay for a subscription to their app to be able to access the archives of old puzzles. They usually take me 30-60 seconds to finish and are usually themed and topical.
