I loved Alice as a kid, but having experienced it in translation many puns didn't make sense[0], and reading it as grown up in the original.. they still didn't, cause nobody uses "mad as a march hare" in normal conversation with me anyway. An annotated version seems like what I need! [0] I will say that the Italian translation of the Disney movie has a few clever inventions tho, I really like "leprotto bisestile", leap-year-hare.
