- paulddraper 3y agoIf you're with a pilot (even if they aren't an instructor), you can do whatever.....including taking off and landing. Whether the pilot lets you do that is obviously up to them, but as long as there is a license pilot in command, the FAA doesn't care. > If you want to fly a little, make friends with a pilot.
