- jdblair 3y agoThat's not what I took from the article. The tax incentives for construction are the same as other regions (that's what"competitive" means in my summary). The tax incentives are needed to compete with those other regions' tax incentives, not for cooling.
- jtode 3y agoSo the tax incentives are the same everywhere? You seem to be going in circles here, first you're saying the tax incentives are an advantage to this region, then you're saying there's tax incentives elsewhere too. It was mostly a shitcomment whatever the case, the problem with your assessment is that your unexamined priorities. Profitability being the sole determinant is how we all burn. edit: point of that being, if we place a different thing as top priority, there are creative ways to synergize solutions so as to not have to give up large datacentres as an available resource.
