No one cares about any law by that logic. We either inherently, 'intrinsically' care about the thing the law defines, ie: we have an ethical framework that aligns with the law, or, we don't care but we acknowledge the cost of not following the law. Either way, the rest of the world by and large cares deeply about the US and its laws.
