The problem with the American airline security system is the invasive nude imaging, needless radiation exposure, and the hundreds of millions of hours of human time it wastes annually. Here in Japan, I arrive at the airport 20 minutes before a domestic flight, show no ID, take my lighter and PET bottle with me, and we haven't had any terrorist attachs either.
